Great Midwest Writing Contest

What: Annual contest that awards a $500 prize and publication in Midwest Review for the winning entry in each category: nonfiction, fiction, and poetry.

When: TBD.

Guidelines: Submit up to 6,000 words of fiction, creative nonfiction, or up to 10 poems. 

Contest Selection Process:
1st Round: Blind Read by MR Editorial Staff with 10 finalists forwarded Contest Judge.
2nd Round: Blind Read by Contest Judge, who selects the winner.
